Keith and Carla Ferry
NASH COUNTY DIRECTORS
Keith was born and raised in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania. After years of trying to find peace, acceptance, and fulfillment through alcohol and many other things, Keith's life was spinning out of control. He was searching for the right things but in all the wrong places leaving him empty, helpless and hopeless. His marriage was also in total despair and through a series of events his wife cried out to God to either help him or let him die. She wanted the latter, BUT GOD had other plans. In 1992 Keith began his journey of recovery with out-patient treatments and AA programs. He had fully committed to this journey of recovery and had a "Spiritual awakening as the result of these steps" but had not fully surrendered to the One True God (the God of the Bible). When Keith fully surrendered and allowed the Lord to have His way with him, he began to discover a freedom and a newness of life that he'd never experienced before. His relationship with Jesus Christ totally transformed his decades-long struggle with alcohol as Jesus completely healed and delivered him from his addiction. Walking in this new God given freedom, in 1994 he asked his wife to remarry and renew their relationship. She said yes! For the last 18+ years Keith and Carla have shared God's testimony of hope, redemption, and restoration by working with numerous folks in Christ Centered recovery programs at their church. Further testament to God’s Grace is their 35+ year marriage and 3 beautiful children Jacob, Hannah and Nathanael. Keith and Carla have been involved with LIFE ministries since 2023 and now serve as facilitators at the weekly meetings. L.I.F.E. Ministries is a lifeline of Hope. The answer to overcoming life's struggles and addictions is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Come and discover it for yourself Monday nights at 6:30 at Calvary Chapel of Red Oak, in Red Oak, North Carolina.
